INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 and Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003 and subsequent amendments

Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (hereinafter the "Privacy Code") and Article 13 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter "GDPR 2016/679"), which contains provisions for the protection of individuals and other subjects with regard to the processing of personal data, we wish to inform you that the personal data you provide will be processed in compliance with the aforementioned legislation, to protect your privacy and your rights.

A. Nature of the data
The personal data processed are essentially identification and tax data, such as personal details, address, telephone number, fax number, email address, website, tax code, VAT number, etc.

B. Purpose of the processing
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes: 1. to conduct negotiations and for preliminary requirements prior to entering into a contract; 2. to properly manage the contractual relationship established (e.g., issuing purchase orders, invoicing, etc.); 3. to fulfill all legal obligations and for administrative and commercial purposes;

C. Method of processing
The processing will be carried out automatically and/or manually, in compliance with the provisions of Article 13 of the GDPR. 32 of GDPR 2016/679 and Annex B of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Articles 33-36 of the Code) regarding security measures, implemented by specifically appointed persons and in compliance with the provisions of Articles 29 of GDPR 2016/679. We hereby inform you that, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, and data minimization, pursuant to Article 5 of GDPR 2016/679, your personal data will be retained for the period of time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and processed.

D. Nature of the data provision and consequences of refusal to respond
The provision of data and its processing are necessary for the execution of the contractual supply relationship with the Entity. Any refusal to provide personal data will therefore make it impossible to initiate or continue the commercial/professional relationship with EPPI. Pursuant to Article 24 of the Privacy Code, your consent is not required as the processing of your data is necessary to fulfill obligations arising from the established contract or to fulfill your specific requests prior to the conclusion of the supply contract. Authorization to process your personal data is therefore deemed granted for the performance of the services deriving from the contract.

E. Communication of Data
In relation to the purposes indicated above, personal data may be communicated to the following categories of parties: 1) employees and collaborators responsible for processing for the management of procedures relating to the ongoing commercial relationship; 2) credit institutions for payment collection operations; 3) companies or professional firms for any activities to be performed related to the proper performance of contractual obligations; 4) freelancers, legal, tax, and commercial consulting firms or companies; 5) couriers, freight forwarders, warehouse managers, and other service companies necessary for the performance of the existing business relationship between this company and the interested party; 6) public authorities or administrations for the fulfillment of any legal obligation.

F. Rights of the interested party
As a data subject, you have the right to exercise specific rights, including, in particular, the right to obtain confirmation at any time as to whether or not your data exists and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy, or request its integration, updating, rectification, or deletion. Furthermore, for legitimate reasons, you may object to the processing of your personal data. The text of the aforementioned article, containing the complete list of the rights recognized by law to the interested party, is reproduced in full at the bottom of this privacy policy.

The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her exists, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in an intelligible form.

The data subject has the right to obtain information on: a) the source of the personal data; b) the purposes and methods of processing; c) the logic applied in the event of processing carried out with the aid of electronic means; d) the identification details of the data controller, data processors, and the designated representative pursuant to Article 5, paragraph 2; e) the entities or categories of entities to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State's territory, data processor(s), or persons in charge of processing.

The data subject has the right to obtain: a) updating, rectification, or, where interested therein, integration of the data; b) erasure, anonymization, or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or subsequently processed; c) certification that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) have been notified, including their content, to those to whom the data was communicated or disseminated, except where such disclosure proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right being protected.

The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part: a) for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him or her, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection; b) to the processing of personal data concerning him or her for the purposes of sending advertising or direct selling materials or for conducting market research or commercial communications.
